Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Ezcom AI (the “App”). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The service

The App helps Shopify merchants generate product descriptions, SEO metadata, and image assets using artificial intelligence. Features, models, and limits may change over time.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must have an active Shopify store and the authority to install apps on it. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your store in connection with the App.

3. Plans, credits & billing

• The App offers a Free plan and paid plans (e.g. Starter, Basic, and Pro) billed through Shopify Billing. Prices and included credits are shown in the App and on the Shopify App Store listing.
• Generations consume credits. When credits are exhausted, generation may be paused until credits reset or you upgrade.
• Paid subscriptions renew automatically through Shopify until cancelled. Charges are handled by Shopify under its billing terms.
• Low-usage refund policy: a merchant on a paid monthly plan who uses fewer than five monthly-plan credits in the applicable credit cycle may submit one request for a full refund review of that month's subscription charge. Requests can be submitted from Billing in the App or by email. One-time credit-pack usage is excluded from the threshold. Submission does not reverse a charge automatically: we verify eligibility and usage before approval. Approved refunds or billing credits are processed through Shopify, and processing time may depend on Shopify's billing systems.

4. AI-generated content

• AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or not unique. You are responsible for reviewing and editing all generated content before publishing it to your store.
• You must not rely on the App to produce false claims, prohibited content, or anything that violates applicable law or Shopify policies.
• To the extent permitted by law, you own the content you publish; however, AI providers’ terms may apply to generated output.
• You can give each saved generated asset a one-to-five-star rating and explain when it falls materially below expectations. Ratings and optional comments are sent to an administrator for review. We may return credits after reviewing the output and its generation record; eligibility and the amount are decided case by case. A rating or comment does not automatically return credits.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for unlawful, infringing, or harmful purposes.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, overload, or interfere with the App or its providers.
• Submit content that is illegal, hateful, deceptive, or violates third-party rights.

6. Third-party services

The App relies on Shopify and third-party AI providers (such as Google Gemini, DeepSeek, OpenRouter, and Groq). We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of these third parties.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the three months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to comply with law. Upon uninstall, your session data is deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
